Oh Happy Day!!!

On March 9th, 2013 at the East Brunswick Community Arts Theater, it was my honor (and blessing) to be awarded the title of Mrs. New Jersey International 2013! I had the pleasure of competing with some of most amazing women in the state of NJ, who inspired me beyond measure. As our wonderful director, Jodi Cessna, said throughout the weekend "We are all Winners!!!". I am so humbled to be able to represent my beautiful state and so proud to be a part of the "Cessna International" family. I look forward to a wonderful year filled with enormous opportunities and plan to inspire as well as learn from everyone I meet. I vow to take my platform. to new heights along with my other passion near and dear to my heart , an empowerment movement for which I serve as an Inner/Outer Beauty Ambassador. I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this journey, especially my sister Damali, who does so from Heaven. This is all for you girl!!!!

Cervical Cancer Awareness

According to the American Cancer Society, around 12,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year.To increase the chances of survival, it is extremely important to catch  cervical cancer early. My beautiful younger sister passed away due to the disease one week shy of her 31st birthday. Had she been diagnosed even 6 months earlier, her life might have been saved. Ladies, know your bodies and make sure you stay on top of your yearly check ups. Early detection saves lives. To learn more about cervical cancer visit

2013 Rock the Runway Event

It is always so much fun to do what I love in order to support a great cause. I was proudly on makeup duty for the 2013 Rock the Runway Event. This beautiful fun filled event allowed local designers to showcase what's new this season. All the proceeds from the evening went to the Monmouth County Food Bank to support families affected by Hurricane Sandy.
