Role Model Ready!

Making people look and feel beautiful is my passion. I particularly love to work with our youth to encourage them to be as beautiful on the outside as I know they are on the inside. This was never more true than when I got the awesome opportunity to serve as makeup artist to the lovely young ladies in the Role Model Group program. Started by former Miss New Jersey USA, Kaity Rodriguez, The Role Model Group is a non-profit organization whose mission is" To use the influence of the fashion and entertainment industries to increase self esteem, character, and leadership in teen girls". I spent the day helping several of the programs young ladies get camera ready for a professional photo shoot. What touch me most about the inspiring group of young women, was the fact that they took the time to all sign a card thanking me for my work that day. Talk about beauty inside and out! To learn more about the Role Model Group, visit them at www.therolemodelgroup.com

Beating Autism

Five years ago I lost my beautiful youngest sister to cervical cancer. My sister had a son who is now 12 years old and has Autism. I can honestly say that though he is faced with challenges, he is growing, learning and thriving because of early intervention and on going love and support. It was my pleasure to attend a wonderful black tie gala that celebrated and benefited MyGOAL an organization that is dedicated to restoring lives affected by autism.
